The Area

The Costa Calida is a beautiful coastal region situated in South West Spain, An hour and a quarter from Alicante and 45 minutes from Murcia airport. This resort has bountiful amenities boasting various high quality golf courses, several P.A.D.I registered diving centres, far stretching clean beaches, several of which are located in quite secluded coves, and a whole host of shops, bars and restaurants.

The area is steeped in history, influenced by Roman and Moorish occupation with several important ruins, old buildings and museums to be found especially in the town of Cartegna which is also Spain's main Mediterranean naval port.
